CATALOGUE OF DISGUISE I, 2019
On 29th June 2019, TRAUMABARUNDKINO presented the performance CATALOGUE OF DISGUISE I. The project discloses a narrative inspired by contemporary identities within our cultural space while questioning paradoxical lifestyles and translating them through a performance. Driven by different alterations of those characters, three designers collaborated on a collection composed of 12 looks. By means of various mediums and creative layers, this cross-research results in a performance, where the abstract story line keeps breaking in and out of disguises. Playing with the idea of identities captured within a representation of themselves in our hyper connected, yet disjointed world, melting down in a digital trap.
